So, I am finally registered and set to go with my new classes after switching my major from engineering to graphic arts with a minor in business. I am pretty far behind in my classes since I switched two weeks into the new semester (the sooner the better though). Most people think that it is crazy to switch between the two majors since one is on one side of the brain and the other is opposite. However, it has not been very hard for me, there is a lot of work, but it is no more difficult than engineering was. And I am taking the same 18 credit work load (though I am doing it in 4 days instead of 5, hooray for open Friday!). I just completed my first big ‘make-up’ project. I made a grand piano sculpture out of nothing but paper, tape and glue. Although it looks ok, it did not turn out exactly how I wanted. But I am not worried because we had critique day for the people who were done, and one girl brought up a black box with four black squares and a picture from the internet glued on the front… she called it a TV. I have two more big projects, a paper, and some stuff to read and some people to interview, but other than that, I am doing great. So there is a little pun intended on the title, but switching majors has been a very big change.
On another note, Jack Bauer is amazing, what more do I need to say…
